Miss Mike was @ Mikes!!

Whoo hoo!!! Check out the loot I received in the mail today from Sista' Mike (MissMike over on SCS) --- all fer' me!!! What a sweetie she is!!! These cute little tins were 'born as' Gift Card Tin Holders --- but look at what she has done with them!!!!

Only about a week ago I sent her an email about the awesome tins that JanTink was making.... remember those?? Well, I am going out to AZ to see Sista Mike next week and I was telling her that I would be checking out Michaels Arts & Crafts before boarding the plane. What does she do??? She rushes out to every Mikes in her area looking for JanTinks tins ... and sadly discovers that they were all shipped to JanTinks store and the rest of us were just teased by Jans postings to SCS and to her blog!! LOL So Michaeleen, being the crafty person she is, comes up with this brilliant idea, and sends me 10 of my very very very very own to decorate and the 11th one was all decorated for me and filled with chocolate candy (oh she knows me well!)

So, you have heard of blog candy right????? How would you like one of these as yer' very own?? I'm not gonna' give em all away.... just one decorated one....all fer' YOU!! ;o)) I absolutely love what MissMike has sent me and I want to share the excitement with the readers of my blog!! All you have to do is post your comment here to the thread as to a creative thing you could put in here (besides a gift card of course)... then when I get back from seeing Michaeleen on the 28th of February I will randomly pick a post and send you your own tin that I have decorated for you!!! Please be sure to include your name in your post so I won't have problems with posting the winners name --- then I will get your snail mail addy from you via email.

I've posted the winner in the comments ~ if you are the lucky winner please follow this link ...... 'winner email me here'

I appreciate all of you reading about my rubbah' thoughts & creations here!!!

Happy Stampin'!

~Enjoy & TFL~

The very best thing to store in these tins would be stamping supplies! How about mini tins filled with eyelets, beads, & brads!

These are very cute!!

Awesome idea and how nice of you to share. These would probably work well holding a nice altered tag book, candies, Easter goodies, etc. There are so many neat things you could put inside. It will be neat to see what you come up with too.

These are just too cute; I need to get to Mike's soon and look for some.

Cute! I am going to keep my eyes open for tin boxes. I think I'll put some of the new gold dollar coins that were just minted. Maybe I will make six of them, include the dollar coin and give one to each of my grandchildren. My name is Marilyn or MJB Coffee. Thanks for offering this blog candy.

These are sooo cute. Checked out my local store after seeing these, and no luck. I would keep a little stash of gum, and candy along with a handi wipe that I would need after eating the candy! But would more likely put them in the Easter Baskets that I am making.

Hello Everyone ~

Sorry for the delay in getting a winner posted!! We arrived safely home from our (awesome) trip in between winter storms here *sigh*

I had a big SCS swap to get swapped out the day we arrived home --- which I did get done and then we had to button down the hatches for the storm --- now about 12-14" of snow later....we think we might see the light at the end of the tunnel *whew* We lost power a few times for just minutes at a time but I hated to even have my computer on during all of that. Sooo with all of that being said I think I am back ... and I would like to make the big announcement!!!! THE WINNER OF THE BLOG CANDY IS.......

I would put a mini accordian folder with pictures of my sweet grandbabies in it. I only have three so it would be just perfect and not too thick

OR

I could put the neighbor's key in it and put a magnet on the back and put it on my fridge so everyone could admire it while it was still doing its job!
