Tasty Flowers & Bugs

Another creation shared from the creative studio of my darling downline, LuAnn.




















When she was over stamping a few weekends ago she had asked me for input on coming up with a movable 'door' for the back of the treat cups, so they can be enjoyed by the recipient, filled again and regifted. We came up with a slick fix for that so it appears as tho she has been super creative and busy ;o) YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purses! Purses!!!

A few days ago I posted the purse that I had so lovingly CASED from my darling downline, LuAnn, during our stampin' weekend.

Welllll, she has been creative in her studio ~ taking inspiration from my CASED inspiration of her own and came up with THIS! (Did you follow all of that?! lol)

LuAnn used Dusty Durango sponged with Chocolate Chip and of course Michelle's (2stampis2b) Shimmer Spray technique.

Soooo awesome LuAnn!! Soo glad you shared with me ;o) We need to get together again before all of this snow melts!!!

Stampin' Weekend ~ Continued....

The moment I spotted this idea on SCS I knew I needed to try it! I had the SU! file folders on hand already as I thought they were just adorable and would be fun to use in my home office! So what a perfect idea it was to use the rest this way ;o)

Stampin' Weekend ~ Continued....

Can you say adorable??? This cute purse idea came from my team member, LuAnn, during our stampin' weekend! I just had to CASE it ;o)

Just to make this one a bit more 'rittizer' I did Big Shot emboss my purse pieces and I applied a clear finish to the front and back of the purse by using the clear embossing powder. The top part, or the flap, is a piece of card stock vellum Big Shot embossed, sponged with chocolate chip ink and then Shimmer Sprayed (ohh lala ~ Thanks Michelle!)

I used a 1/2 piece of velcro to hold the flap down right under my 'button like embellies' and added the fun brad and ribbon to the side vs. a traditional purse strap for something fun and different.

This would be great for holding money or a gift card for a special occassion!

Chocolate, anyone?

SCS is such an awesome place to visit for any sort of stampin' inspiration! I totally loved this idea when I saw it and thought of Sista' Mike first as I know she loves loves loves Ghirardelli chocolates.

Nothing's better than chocolate for a quick pick-me-up for a friend, and nothing's cuter (or easier) than packaging square chocolates in this tiny box for a quick gift.

Instructions:
1.Cut flowers from Old Olive and Riding Hood Red textured card stock using Big Shot and Birds & Blooms die.
2. Stamp joy circle image in Chocolate Chip and Riding Hood Red ink on Very Vanilla card stock. 3. Punch out images using 1" Circle punch, and adhere to centers of flowers using Stampin' Dimensionals.
4. Adhere flowers to magnets, and adhere lightly to Very Vanilla textured card stock. Insert into cello bag.
5. Cut topper image from Riding Hood Red textured card stock using Big Shot and Top Note die. 6. Rub greeting onto topper using wooden applicator included in packaging.

7. Tie ribbon around topper, and fold over bag. Staple to secure topper.

3. Stamp home image in Chocolate Chip ink on Very Vanilla card stock. Distress image corners, and adhere to basket using Stampin' Dimensionals.
4.To create tag, stamp swirl image in VersaMark ink on Very Vanilla tag.
5. Stamp greeting in Ruby Red ink over swirl image.
6.Cut Designer Series paper tag, and adhere top to Very Vanilla tag.
7. Tie Very Vanilla ribbon around tag, and hang from treats using linen thread.

3. Assemble box. Adhere Rose Red card stock (10-1/2" x 5/8") around box. Adhere Certainly Celery 5/8" grosgrain ribbon around box.

4. Stamp tree image in Old Olive ink on Whisper White card stock (1-7/8" x 2-3/4"). Adhere card stock to box using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

5. Tie Certainly Celery 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, and adhere to box on right side of tree.

6. Stamp sentiment in Rose Red ink on Rose Red card stock; punch out using 1" Circle punch. Attach Silver brad to top of circle, and adhere circle to box using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7. Distress top edge of box.

4. Stamp skull image in Jet Black StazOn ink on Basic Black card stock (3" x 4"). Cut out crossbones and adhere to back of Naturals White skull. Adhere to Kiwi Kiss circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

5. To create ring, punch hole in Tangerine Tango card stock using 3/4" Circle punch. Punch out hole using 1" Circle punch. Adhere bottom of ring to back of Kiwi Kiss circle. Thread Tangerine Tango 5/8" striped grosgrain ribbon through ring and tie around cellophane bag.

3. Adhere Tangerine Tango card stock (8-1/4" x 4") to cover. Wrap Tangerine Tango 5/8" striped grosgrain around cover, and adhere ribbon to inside of cover. Tie additional piece of Tangerine Tango ribbon and adhere to cover.

4. Adhere Bashful Blue card stock (5" x 1-3/8") to On Board Book Basics. Cut On Board Book Basics and Bashful Blue card stock using BigShot for Stampin’ Up! and Top Note Bigz die.

5. Ink stamp with Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write marker and stamp along bottom edge of Bashful Blue card stock. Stamp sentiment again in Chocolate Chip ink on Whisper White card stock. Cut out “Happens” and “Busy” and adhere to Bashful Blue card stock using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

6. Stamp end of sentiment in Chocolate Chip ink on So Saffron card stock (2-1/8" x 3/4"). Adhere card stock to chipboard note.

7. Cut “Life” from Chocolate Chip textured card stock using Big Shot machine and Go Go Boots Sizzlits Alphabet die. Adhere letters to chipboard note using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8. Punch flowers from So Saffron and Tangerine Tango card stock using Trio Flower punch. Attach Silver brads to one flower of each color, and adhere to chipboard note.

9. Adhere chipboard note to journal.
