Let is Snow!!

I just love this stamp set, Cold Play, what a fun snowman to create with!

What is your favorite winter memory or tradition? Mine is getting all bundled up as a child and going out on the farm and finding the perfect spot to make a 'snow fort' with my brother. We would build for hours and hours -- that was soo much fun! I can't wait to go back out to the same farm where my brothers family lives now and make forts with my nephew and niece! Reliving a childhood.

The Season of Friendship

....lasts forever! I love this saying!!

This card was submitted to a swap that I hosted recently by Michelle Lehmer.

The blue background was brayered with a Baja Breeze ink pad after embossing the snowflakes with white embossing powder. Sorry the pic is a bit dark to pick up on all of the wonderful detail!! Also, the snow pile at the bottom, actually the whole white strip is another layer that was torn to look like snow - great touch!!

Stamp Set: Seasons of Friendship

Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White

Stampin' Pads: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, VersaMark

Accessories: 3/4" circle punch, White embossing powder, silver mini brad, stampin' dimensionals

This should put you in the mood for a bit of snow ;o)

Stamped with Confidence

Are you walking confidently in the direction of your dreams? I just love this saying -- and what better to incorporate it into a card!!

Another idea rather than making this into a card would be to frame it -- and hang it or have it sitting on your desk in your rubber room or even on your desk at work -- the ideas are endless ;o)
