GOT BAGS!!!! ---- WILL SEND!!!!

Guess what I also brought home from with us from AZ??? The little tea bags!! (If you are not familar with these --- please read my blog entrys from December 15 ~ January 2 and January 15 to bring you up to speed) My parents had picked these up for me and had them in the motorhome and were not going to be coming home till April but since we were out there I just stuck them in our bags before we boarded the plane to come home!

I had stated that I would be happy to just charge you what my parents had paid for them -- plus actual shipping. Well, they are cheap cheap cheap!! They cost $.0157 per bag when bought in the bundle!!!

I did a little figuring tonight and I can get 100 MAXIMUM in a flat rate priority envelope --- and those are $4.05 each for postage. Sooo for 100 it would cost $1.57 for the bags and $4.05 for the postage = $5.62 total. If you want to do less than 100, that is fine too....but do you have a stampin' friend to split them with? Even bettah' huh? LOL

If you are interested in more than 100 we can easily do another size of priority box that is bigger with no problem ~ ~ ~ right now I have 500 bags to sell. If you Ladies wipe me out of the 500 my parents are more than happy to pick more up for me before they leave AZ -- but those won't be back here to Iowa till the 2nd week of April or so but I would then be happy to get them out to you then ----

If you are interested, please reply to this thread so then everyone knows by looking who is interested and in how many. Then, also, reply to me HERE in an email titled TEA BAGS with your name and how many you would like and I will reply back to you with my snail mail addy so you know where to send your $$.

Bags will then be sent out in order that the $$ is received at my house. I will keep updates on here so everyone knows how many bags are left ~ ~ ~

Many Stampin' Thanks!!!

Got Bags??

Good Morning!!
As I have been supah' busy with SU! SAB preps and demos in the last two weeks I've been thinkin...(yes, I need to post my cards that I have been demo'ing I plan on getting that done this week too! *lol*) ...my parents are headed to AZ for some R&R for a few months...and I could give them a 'mission' while they are there!! To find us some tea bags ;o) What ya think?
Pictured here is my very own hoarded stash that I have now....nope...won't share...won't do it....notta so don't even ask....BUT....I would be happy to have my parents gather some up and deliver them back and mail them out to you at whatever it costs them (no mark ups!!)...you just pay the shipping from me to you. I don't know yet what they would cost but I can't imagine it would be alot....soooo if you are interested how bout' you now post that you are interested in some bags of your very very own for your very own hoarded stash ;o) Mom and Dad will be leaving AZ to come back on April 1st...so they should be back by the 2nd week of April....so the shipping from today won't be speedy by any means...I will though keep you posted as to when they pick them up and how much they cost with tax, etc etc. I am not sure how many come in a bundle but please post too how many you would be interested in and then we will go from there!!
Thanks again for showing your interest in my tea bags ~ I thought since my parents were headed that way some of you might be interested in the 'naked bags' to decorate yourself too!! ~ Just a friendly thought!! Just let me know if there is any interest!
Happy Stampin'!

Birthday Tea for 2007

Remember back in the middle of December when I posted the Christmas tea bags that I had made? I had mentioned that I had made an extra few for my Mom to send to her friends? Well she sent one to my Aunt CJ in NC.

Aunt CJ emailed me and stated she had received it and just loved it. She loved it so much she wanted to make some up as 'birthday tea' bags for her girlfriends for the upcoming year. She wanted to know where she could get the stuff to make her own. Welllll ...... I just happened to know who could just 'make' some for her!!!! So my Aunt has officially 'commissioned' me and the project is complete! I made up 5 for her ( the pink edged ones are hers) and while I was at it made up some 'birthday teas' for me to have on hand too!!

Aunt CJ came up with a cute poem for her bags but wanting to keep her poem special just for her bags I edited mine just a bit to make them different.

I used the Spring Flowers designer paper for this batch, along with the 'flirty' ribbon from the Winter Mini. On the close up of the front of the tea bag book, its hard to see but the brown flirty ribbon is running down on the chocolate chip card stock...I just love that brown ribbon..its so fun and forgiving to work with!! I also had 3 left to do and was running short on the flirty so I grabbed my stitched grosgrain for a different look as well.

The tea tag is So Saffron and the background was stamped with two background stamps --- both using So Saffron --- Print Pattern and French Script. I also used the new small tag punch also featured in the new Winter Mini (page 4) I just cut the bottom of the tag off for a different look. I then just punched a 1/16" hole in the tag and pulled a piece of pink gingham and Narrow Celery Organdy Ribbon thru and tied that together with gold cord. I also used the Daisy punch and added a so saffron Daisy to the inside as well.

Soooo.....we alll have a birthday every year if we like it or not......and with it being only the 2nd Day of January we are at the start of a new year! I would like to offer you my thanks for reading my blog ~~ please post your comments here that you would be interested in receiving one of my extra birthday tea bags and let me know the month and day of your birthday. (year is not necessary *lol*) Then, if you would, please email me your name and snail mail address and I would be happy to mail you a tea bag close to your birthday. (Please include your screen name in your email so I can keep names straight.) This offer will be for the first 8 or so people that reply ~ ~ ~ Thanks again for checking in here on my blogging adventures ~ I appreciate you!

Tea 4U

These went out in the mail tonight ~ ~ en route to my 2006 secret sisters that I have had over on SCS thru a group called DDSS (dabblin demos secret sisters is what I think it stands for anyway!! lol) Christmas tea! I hope they enjoy them!! I am also being sneaky and putting one in the mail to my current DDSS too...humm...we will see if she catches on...this could be fun....she would just find out a weee bit early is all!! I can't believe January is already reveal month for this current round! Time flies when you are have fun, eh?

I received one similar to this last year just before the holidays from my Sista' Michaeleen (aka 'missmike' on SCS) and have been thinking alllllllll year as I look at it on my board: "I am going to make some of these next season and send them out" I also made up bunches and gave them to my Mom to hand out to her friends as well ;o)

Here is what the inside poem says:
On Christmas Day, at half past three,
Pour yourself a cup of tea.
I’ll think of you, you’ll think of me,
Sitting around the Christmas tree.

These bags are smaller than the typical bags so to give you an idea the front of these measure 4" by 4" and they are really easy to complete! Bascially you just fold the bag in half and start to decorate!!

Here is a list of the 'ingredients':

Stamps: Everyday Flex Phrases, Bold Shapes, Year Round Fun II
Paper: Four Seasons, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron
Ink: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron
Accessories: Flirty Ribbon, Caramel Gingham Ribbon, Narrow Organdy Light Pink Ribbon, Gold Cord, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Heart Punch (for hole in tea tag for ribbon) Vanilla Caramel Tea Bags, Pop Up Glue Dots (to hold tea bags on tea tags), extra small brown bags

~TFL & Enjoy~
