Bandage tins are not just for band aids...

.....they are for creating on too!!! Here is a very quick project I did tonight. I purchased these from OrientalTrading.com The product number is 65/90065 and they are called 'tall thin tins'. 3 come in a package for $4.95. They measure2 1/4" x 3 3/4" x 1 1/8".

I started out by cutting a piece of SU! Slumber Party designer paper and I just taped it to the tin using sticky strip tape. Then I just simply cut a piece of the 'Flirty' ribbon (from the Winter Mini) and hot glued that ~ gathering it in the front to glue it. I ran a piece of the sliver cord around the top of that, gathering and glueing that in the front too. Then I silver embossed a S is for Smile tag and used my tag punch to punch that out very easily and quicky ;o) (I loooovveee my tag punches!) I punched a hole in the top of the tag and ran a small piece of light pink narrow organdy ribbon thru it and gathered it with a small pice of silver cord. Then to mount the tag to the tin --- I had to double up on my dimensionals --- I just stacked one on top of another to get the 'height' I needed and then simply attached it to the tin.

I enclosed a gift card for the recipient ~ perfect size for that!!! I think I am going to make some different versions for gift cards for christmas presents ~ rather than just handing them an envelope these would be fun tins to open and certainly not expected!!

~TFL & Enjoy~
