Time For You

I joined a card swap for the upcoming Occasions Mini that will be unveiled soon from Stampin' UP! The stamp set is called 'Time For You' ~ its just adorable! I completed my cards Wednesday night and got them mailed off to the hostess.

While surfing SCS recently I ran across this card made by Julie 'jeweleintn' that I thought was just adorable! I took her layout and changed the stamp set to use on this card! Thanks Julie ~ yer' a gem ;o)

I chose my colors from my ole' SU! Color Coach -- my right hand when it comes to color design!! So Saffron is the base, with Close to Cocoa as the second layer, Bordering Blue as the third layer and then I repeated the Close to Cocoa and Bordering Blue again and finally chose Confetti Cream as my final sixth layer.

I used the swirl out of the 'sweet shapes' stamp set and clear embossed those randomly across the close to cocoa cardstock using UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel). Always time for you and the clock are stamped with Chocolate Chip ink ~ just to give it a bit of a darker look.

I was excited to use the new Old Olive Polytwill Ribbon on this card ~ that too will be unveiled in the Occasions Mini!!

I mounted the clock punch/stamped doodad with two stampin' dimensionals to make it pop just a bit.

These were fun to make ~ I hope the other girls in the swap like them too!!

As always, here is my recipe:

Stamp Sets: Time for You, Sweet Shapes
Card Stock: From the Color Coach – So Saffron, Close to Cocoa, Bordering Blue, Confetti Cream Stampin’ Pads: Chocolate Chip, VersaMark
Accessories: Scallop Punch, 1 3/8” Punch, 1 ¼” Punch, Stampin Dimensionals, UTEE, Old Olive Polytwill Ribbon (from Occasions Mini)

~Enjoy & TFL~
