Miss Malia & her family Halloween

Hello ;o) I just wanted to share with you the latest news from Miss Malia and her family ~ it sounds like they had a fun Halloween ;o)

Just loading a couple pictures of the family's Halloween costumes. We had fun - we played it safe and kept it very short and close to home. Malia was tired after about 10 houses but she was very excited that we all were dressed up with her.

We have a follow up appointment on Tuesday with her Oncologist to review her counts again and just go over the follow up schedule. I believe she'll be seen in the clinic once a month for blood draws for about 6 months or so and then every couple of months and then every quarter and so on until she's 18 and moves on to a doctor for adults. She'll also need quarterly scans for a while as well as hearing tests but that too will start to have longer breaks in between just like her blood draws. Her port removal surgery has been scheduled for November 14th and it is an outpatient surgery so the hardest part is definately over - we just need her to recover now :-).

Hope you all had a fabulous Halloween!
Hugs to you all.
