Lots o' Sweet Hearts

I stated a few days ago I would post my January 2007 demonstration that I have been busy doing ovah' and ovah' again .... pete and repeat... you know? *lol* I just love to set up one demo every month and then be able to just do it over and over again at each show ~ it saves me sooo much time and I feel I am 'on top of my game' when it comes to doing the demo. I just have to re-organize and cut a bit more cardstock and I am ready to go for the next round. January certainly has been a busy demo month thanks to the SU! SAB promo ~ Yeah! Thanks SU!

Here is a fun one -- this is actually the last one of the bunch -- I personally demo 3 ideas and then the 4th we always do as a make and take --- meaning each participant gets to make this card and take it home with them!!

The base of this card is Bravo Burgundy card stock with a piece of Apricot Appeal placed on the front with 'sweet' from the 'Sweet Shapes' stamp set stamped in the lower corner. Then the 'Lots of Hearts' jumbo wheel is ran across a piece of Ultrasmooth Vanilla cardstock using the Bravo Burgundy Jumbo cartridge. (You know I just love this wheel and the only place it is pictured in the IB&C is in the back listed with the wheels?!!!) Then to get a quick 'edge' on the vanilla cardstock I jut ask the participants to 'fan or shave' the sides thru the stamp pad. Then to just finish it off we wrap a piece of the celery grosgrain ribbon around it to tie it all together -- I think the celery color gives the card a bit of the 'candy hearts' looks --- sweet treats you know? *wink wink*

Special thanks to SCS'er billsbrowneyedgirl for her inspiration on this card ~ I absolutely loved her color combo and was going to use it ..but.. for all the demos I had scheduled in January, and I wasnt going to be personally ordering in the meantime, I had to change my color combo to match what I had on hand for cardstock quantities.

As always, here is a list of ingredients (same as above but listed here again):
Stamp Sets: Lots of Hearts Jumbo Wheel, Sweets Shapes
Cardstock: Bravo Burgundy, Apricot Appeal, Ultrasmooth Vanilla
Stampin' Pads: Bravo Burgundy and Bravo Burgundy Jumbo Cartridge
Accessories: Celery Grosgrain Ribbon

~Enjoy & TFL~
